Following on from the interest in, and success of Make Way Day 2020, Galway County PPN called on interested members of the community to join the PPN’s Disability Forum.

The inaugural meeting of our newly established Disability Forum was held on the 21st October 2020.

The meeting was well attended and we are pleased with the positive response it has generated. We are also grateful to Minister Anne Rabbitte, (Minister of State for Disabilities in the Department of Children, Disability, Equality and Integration) for her attendance at the meeting.

Our first online meeting gave participants the opportunity to get to know one another and discuss issues and concerns they have along with aims and interests of our new forum.
