Healthy Ireland is a government led initiative aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of everyone living in Ireland and is administered by the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) in each local authority area. Galway County Council, on behalf of Galway County LCDC, is inviting applications for the Healthy Ireland Community Mental Health Small Grants Scheme which will provide funding to not-for-profit Community, Voluntary and Sporting Groups/Organisations to deliver small-scale projects or activities supporting mental health within their communities in County Galway.
Proposed projects or activities must be in line with the Mental Health Theme of Healthy Ireland, e.g. wellbeing activities, physical activity initiatives, mental health training, etc.
All grant applications must be for projects with a minimum spend of €2,000 up to a maximum spend of €5,000, and be capable of being completed and drawn down by 30th June 2021 at the latest.
